The Klark Teknik MIC BOOSTER CM-2 is a 2-channel dynamic microphone booster whose preamps add up to +25 dB of gain ahead of the mixer or microphone preamplifier. The extra gain increases headroom and lets the microphone level be set at a much lower gain setting at the mixer, leading to a cleaner sound. It runs on phantom power, needs no external power source, and its compact size allows it to be placed close to the microphone.
