The Audix MG18 is a professional miniature gooseneck condenser microphone for podium, presentation, meeting and teleconferencing applications. It uses dual preamp circuitry - one circuit in the capsule housing and one in the base of the XLR - that is internally balanced to isolate the audio path from hum and noise and to protect against RF interference from cell phones and wireless devices. The uniformly controlled cardioid pattern helps isolate the speaker from ambient noise.
